2000-01: Competed in the 100m, 200m and 400m hurdles events during the 2001 outdoor season ... earned second in the hurdles at the Salzman Invitational in 1:04.9 (hand-timed) ... placed as high as third in the 100m, also at the Salzman ... placed out of the top-six in just three of nine outdoor competitions ... ran fastest 200m race of the season, 25.84, in a fourth-place finish at the Washington preview meet ... placed seventh in the 60m dash at the 2001 MPSF Championship meet in 7.93 seconds ... top 60m time of 7.88 seconds came in a fifth-place finish at the Air Force Invitational ... took third in the 60m hurdles at the Air Force meet in a season-best 9.24 seconds ... equaled the mark in the prelimiary heats of the 60m hurdles at the conference meet. 1999-2000: Placed seventh in the 400m hurdles at the Pac-10 Championships ... was the second-ranked 400m hurdler on the UW squad with a career-best time of 1:00.52 ... was third among UW 100m hurdlers with a time of 14.52 at the Washington State Dual ... also ranked among the Huskies’ top-three competitors in the 100m and 200m dashes ... ran the anchor leg of Washington’s 4x100m relay squad at the Drake Relays, leading UW to a fifth-place finish in 45.67 seconds ... ranked second on the squad during the indoor season in both short sprints, establishing a new PR in the 55m dash with a 7.25-second mark in the preliminary heats of the MPSF Championships ... also set a 200m PR at the conference meet, running 25.35 ... anchored Washington’s fifth-place 4x400m relay team at the MPSF Championships ... was second to teammate Kelsey Sheppard in both hurdles events. 1998-99: Competed in three events during the 1999 track campaign ... was Washington’s No. 2 competitor in the 100m with a mark of 12.14 at the SPU Invitational ... ranked third among Huskies in the 200m (25.09) and fifth in the 100m hurdles (15.46) ... during the indoor season, was among Washington’s top competitors in every sprint event ... led the squad in the 60m dash with a career-best mark of 7.75 seconds in a second-place finish at the Vandal Indoor meet ... ranked second overall in the 55m dash and fourth in the 200m ... was also second on the squad in the 60m hurdles, running a season-best 8.93 seconds to place second at Eastern Washington’s Jerry Martin Invitational ... also ran a leg on the Huskies 4x400m relay squad at the MPSF Championships, helping UW to a fourth-place conference finish.

High School and Personal: Born Feb. 4, 1980 in Dallas, Tex. ... parents are Ruby Jackson and James Giddings ... won three consecutive 300m hurdles state championships from 1996-98 ... was named team MVP in each of those three seasons ... won city championships in the long jump, 100m dash and 100m hurdles and twice in the 300m hurdle s... finished her junior year ranked eighth in the nation in the 400m hurdles ... captained Thomas Jefferson to state titles in each of her final two seasons ... also considered Kansas, Texas, and Baylor.
