2008 (RS-Sophomore) - Played in 54 of the Huskies' 55 games, starting 52 ... started 31 in left field, 19 in right and two at DH ... named to the All-Pac-10 first team ... also picked up Academic All-Pac-10 honorable mention ... drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 16th round (487th overall) of the 2008 draft, but elected to return to UW ... led (or shared the lead) the team in virtually every offensive category, including batting average, runs, hits, doubles, triples, homers, RBI, slugging and stolen bases ... finished among the Pac-10 leaders in several categories: second in slugging percentage (.746), fourth in home runs (19), ninth in RBI (57) ... in Pac-10 games only, led the conference with .776 slugging mark and was second with eight homers in league play ... earned Pac-10 Player of the Week honors in two straight weeks (May 6 and May 13) ... May 6 honor came after he went 8-for-10 with three doubles, a triple, two homers and nine RBI in the Huskies' first-ever sweep of USC in Los Angeles ... won the award the following week after hitting four homers and driving in nine over four games vs. Portland and Washington State ... on April 8, hit a pinch-hit, three-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to break a scoreless tie for a 3-0 win over Portland ... two days later, broke a 1-1 tie with a two-run homer in the eighth in a 5-1 win over BYU ... the next day, April 11, hit two homers in a 12-4 win over Brigham Young ... had three two-homer games during the season (Apr. 11 vs. BYU, May 3 at USC and May 11 vs. WSU) ... opened the season by hitting safely in all four games at UC Riverside, including hitting a three-run homer in the series finale ... homered in back-to-back games vs. Hawai'i-Hilo ... starting with that April 8 home run to beat Portland, hit 15 homers over his last 26 games ... in a stretch of five games from April 8-14, hit five homers and drove in 12 ... 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple and two RBI in May 2 game at USC ... two homers the next day and four RBI in series finale ... 3-for-5 with a double and a homer in first of three vs. Washington State and then 3-for-3 with two homers and four RBI in the third game of that series ... homered in three straight games May 17-23 ... earned second-team All-NECBL honors for the Newport (R.I.) Gulls ... during the regular season, hit .278 with a league-leading eight homers and 37 RBI in 30 games ... then in the playoffs, hit .417 with five homers and 13 RBI in only six games as the Gulls made it to the championship series. 2007 (Sophomore) - Played in 18 games, starting 13 (10 in left field, three in right field) ... granted a medical redshirt season after undergoing surgery on his left (non-throwing) shoulder ... didn't see any game action after the March 24 Washington State game ... 4-for-10 with a triple, two runs, two RBI and three walks in the season-opening series at Cal Poly ... also hit safely in all three at the tournament at East Carolina, going 3-for-10 for the weekend ... 1-for-4 with two RBI Feb. 27 vs. Portland ... 2-for-3 with a double March 5 vs. Southern Utah ... also 2-for-3 March 10 (game one) vs. Pacific ... drew 13 walks in 50 at bats ... sat out the summer to recover from surgery. 2006 (Freshman) - Played in 34 of the Huskies' 61 games, starting a total of 20 (12 in right field and eight as the DH) ... first career hit was a single Feb. 20 at CS Northridge ... followed that with a pinch-hit, three-run homer in a 14-4 win over Gonzaga Feb. 24 ... two days later, hit two homers vs. the Zags, going 2-for-4 with three RBI ... the second of those two homers was a two-run blast that broke a 5-5 tie in the seventh, lifting UW to a 7-5 win ... had two hits in three straight starts vs. San Diego and Santa Clara March 7-12 ... March 20 vs. Cal Poly, went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run ... started all three vs. UCLA, hitting safely in all three and finishing the weekend 4-for-12 ... had a two-run, pinch-hit double in the seventh inning vs. Washington State in the last game of the year, starting a rally that ended in a 5-3 win (UW was down 3-0 in the seventh) ... played summer ball for the Wenatchee (Wash.) Applesox, the West Coast Collegiate Baseball League champs.

Earned four letters at Richland under coach Ben Jacobs ... teamed with UW classmate Tyler Cheney to lead the Bombers to the 4A state title in 2005 ... team won the league twice in his four seasons and finished second the other two ... drove in 30 runs as a high school senior ... all-league, all-area, and all-state honorable mention as a junior and then all-league, all-area and all-state as a senior ... led his summer team, Twin City Titans, coached by Steve Farrington, to state and regional titles and a national runner-up finish in 2005 ... also won two state and two regional titles in summer ball ... earned two letters each in football and basketball ... graduated with a 3.7 grade point average and was a member of the National Honor Society.
