2001 (Junior) -- A tall lefty with good velocity, could be counted on in a number of roles … may compete for a spot in the starting rotation or could relieve … six career saves are already seventh most in UW history … 2000 (Sophomore) -- Filled a variety of roles on the pitching staff, serving as the Huskies’ most oft-used closer and starting four times as well … ranked third in the Pac-10 with six saves, the sixth-highest total in UW history … notched two saves each vs. Gonzaga and Washington State and one each vs. California and Lewis-Clark State … earned his first victory vs. Northern Iowa with three and one-third innings of no-hit pitching … fanned five and in that appearance … also had a victory late in the year with a five and one-third inning start vs. WSU … earned the two Gonzaga saves on consecutive days, fanning two in one and two-thirds the first day and four in two innings the next … started and picked up a win in one of the Huskies’ games in Cuba last fall ... 1999 (Freshman) -- After seeing limited action early in the year, closed out 1999 as one of the staff’s top pitchers ...
