Carly Koebel enters her second season with the Washington women's basketball as the program's video coordinator.

In her role, Koebel is responsible for ensuring video exchanges with opponents and content creation, as well as producing recruiting material and assisting with the overall operations of the team.

Prior to joining the Huskies coaching staff, Koebel worked as a graduate intern, helping out with operations and logistics.

"We're really excited to bring Carly on board," said Huskies coach Kevin McGuff. "Carly's work ethic, strong character and attention to detail will be a benefit to us as we continue to grow this program."

Koebel, 25, brings a diverse array of experiences to the position. The Puget Sound native was a Division I basketball player with the University of Portland before earning her Masters degree with the Washington Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership program. In between, Koebel was a marketing intern for Seattle University, an intern for Congressman Jim McDermott and worked as an English language assistant at the Collegi Sant Pere in Spain.

A 6-5 post, Koebel played high school ball at Kennedy High School in Burien, Wash. She then played four years for the Pilots, winning the team's Most Inspirational award in 2007 & 2009.
