2012-13 (Track): Did not compete during the track season while coming back from an injury suffered in the fall ... (Cross Country): Competed at the first two races of the season before missing the rest of the fall due to injry ... was the top attached Husky finisher at the Sundodger Invitational, placing seventh overall in 21:09 for 6k ... made the trip to the Greater Louisville Classic, placing 53rd overall, seventh on the squad, in 17:38 for 5k ... a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention.
2011-12 (Track): Excellent sophomore indoor season and redshirt freshman outdoor season for the mid-distance runner, highlighted by winning the national championship with the distance medley relay indoors ... ran the opening 1,200-meter leg on the DMR, which won the NCAA title on March 9 in Nampa, Idaho with a time of 11:05.20 ... earned First Team All-America honors for the DMR, which also included Jordan Carlson, Baylee Mires, and Katie Flood, winning the first NCAA indoor title ever for the UW women's team ... outdoors, advanced to the quarterfinals of the 1,500-meters, finishing 18th overall in the quarterfinal round at the NCAA West Prelims ... advanced through the NCAA first round with a second-place finish in her heat in 4:25.18 ... reached the finals of the Pac-12 Championships at 1,500-meters, finishing eighth to score a point in a time of 4:23.34 ... ran a 1,500m PR of 4:19.21 at the Mt. SAC Relays, placing third in the open heats ... dropped down to 800m and also went all the way up to 5,000-meters outdoors ... 800m best of 2:10.19 at the Beach Invitational ... opened her outdoor season running 16:37.21 for 5k, finishing fourth at the Pepsi Team Invite ... was third at 800m (2:10.42) and 3,000m (9:52.40) in the UW-WSU Dual ... back indoors, dropped her mile personal-best to 4:39.78 at the Husky Classic, placing ninth in the invitational heat ... that time ranks sixth in UW history and ranked 28th nationally ... also led off the DMR at the MPSF Championships, which shattered the school record with a time of 10:55.01, the fifth-fastest time in NCAA history, also setting an MPSF meet record and a Dempsey facility record ... also ran the 3k at MPSFs, setting a PR of 9:23.67, which ranks seventh in school history ... second in the mile at the UW Final Qualifier, running 4:40.70 ... also earned Pac-12 All-Academic Team honorable mention ... (Cross Country): Ran with the top group of Dawgs at four of six meets, and was UW's alternate at the NCAA Championships, taking the podium with the team after Washington's second-place finish at nationals ... was working back from a limited summer of training all fall ... after redshirting her first fall, she made her first official run at the Sundodger, placing 23rd and seventh on the team in 22:16 ... lowered that time to 21:56 at the Wisconsin Invitational, finishing 207th overall in the largest field of the year, and crossing as the No. 7 Husky as UW captured the team title ... ran at her first Pac-12 Championships in Arizona, placing 65th overall and eighth on the team in 21:49 ... ran in UW's top-seven again at West Regionals, placing 73rd, seventh on the team, as the Huskies won the Regional title for the fourth straight year ... netted a Pac-12 All-Academic honorable mention award.
2010-11: Turned in an excellent first indoor season before a stress fracture forced her to redshirt the outdoor campaign ... ran a mile PR of 4:44.63, just a split second out of the UW top-10, in the UW Final Qualifier, placing second ... finished fourth in the MPSF Championships mile run, crossing in 4:47.46, and also ran the 800-meter leg on the distance medley relay, which took fourth in 11:20.85, the No. 4 time in school history ... ran just one 3,000-meter race, but it was the seventh-fastest in school history, as she rolled to a time of 9:26.73 at the Husky Classic ... ran a 5:02.21 mile at the UW Indoor Preview, but then cut fifteen seconds off that time just two weeks later, as she posted a 4:47.51 at the UW Invitational to take seventh in a deep field ... (Cross Country): Redshirted the season to preserve a year of eligibility but still had a very successful year on the trails ... cross country highlights came during the winter, as she placed seventh at the U.S. Junior Cross Country Championships in San Diego to earn a spot on Team USA for the North American Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association (NACAC) Cross Country Championships held in Trinidad ... went on to win the individual gold medal at the NACAC race, finishing in 13:54 for the 4km race, leading Team USA to the silver team medal ... competed unattached at the Sundodger Invite, placing 28th overall at Lincoln Park ... next raced at the Emerald City Open, where she finished fifth overall, second among all UW competitors.
High School and Personal: Born in Bellevue, Washington ... parents are Lisa and Robert Orr ... has one younger brother, Jason ... helped lead Eastlake to back-to-back Washington 4A State titles her junior and senior seasons ... a four-time Top-20 finisher in cross country at the Washington 4A State Championships, including an 11th-place finish as a freshman in 2006 and a 15th-place finish as a senior in 2009 ... competed at the Nike Cross Nationals in Portland as a junior in 2008, placing 102nd overall ... named Eastlake Most Valuable Track Athlete as a sophomore and senior ... was 16th at the 4A state meet as a senior in the 1,600-meters ... in 2008, took ninth in the 1,600m and 10th in the 800m at the Washington State Meet ... also won the KingCo 800-meter title as a sophomore in a PR of 2:14.76 and was second at 1,600-meters in another best of 5:02.70 ... named Seattle Times Eastside Athlete of the Week in 2008.
