2010-11: Competed three times during the outdoor season, starting with an eight-place finish in the 5k at the Oregon Relays in a time of 17:17.45 ... ran the 3k in the UW-WSU dual in a time of 10:03.20, taking seventh ... ended the year with a runner-up finish in the Ken Shannon Invite in a time of 18:04.66 ... earned a spot on the Pac-10 All-Academic Second Team ... (Cross Country): Started off her redshirt freshman year by scoring for UW for the first time in her career, placing ninth at the UW-WSU dual meet, crossing as the No. 5 Husky as Washington took the team win ... was 21st at the Sundodger Invite in 22:08, an improvement of 42 seconds over the previous year ... finished eighth at the Emerald City Open as the No. 2 official scoring runner, clocking 23:17 over the hilly course, which was 52 seconds faster than in 2010 ... named a Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention.

2009-10: Ran just once on the track, taking 15th in the mile run at the UW Indoor Preview in 5:08.04 ... did not compete during the outdoor season ... (Cross Country): Used her redshirt season, gaining experience running unattached ... ran at the Sundodger at Lincoln Park, placing 32nd overall in 22:51 ... finished ninth at the Emerald City Open at Woodland Park ... crossed the line 10th at the Mike Hodges Invite in Oregon, the fifth UW finisher.

High School and Personal: Born in La Habra, California ... parents are Christine and Patrick Ponce ... has one younger sister, Megan, and one younger brother, Joshua ... had an excellent senior season, winning league and district title sin the 1600m and 3200m and advancing to the 4A state meet where she placed fifth in the 3200 and seventh in the 1600 ... won five Wesco league titles on the track and placed second as a junior and senior in Wesco cross country ... took 19th at the 4A state cross country meet as a senior and was first team All-Wesco in 2007 and 2008 ... was team Rookie of the Year as a sophomore ... graduated with a 3.925 GPA.
