2012: Competed at both conference meets once again in the triple jump, scoring at the MPSFs ... at the Pac-12 Championships, finished 12th in the triple jump, with an outdoor season-best of 40-3 ½ ... finished fourth at the MPSF Championships with a mark of 40-feet, 5-inches ... jumped past the 39-foot mark on five occasions outdoors ... second in the triple jump at the UW-WSU Dual with a mark of 39-5 ¾ ... won the Oregon Twilight Meet with a best of 39-8 ¾ ... third at the Pepsi Team Invitational, going 39-5 ¾ ... season-best long jump of 17-8 ¼ at the UW-WSU Dual, taking sixth ... went 39-6 ½ indoors at the Husky Classic, finishing ninth.

2011: Continued to move up the school top-10 lists in the triple jump, and was one of the top point scorers of the year for the Huskies at the conference championships ... qualified for her first NCAA West Prelim Championships in the triple jump, placing 33rd overall with a jump of 39-0 ¼ ... jumped past 41-feet for the first time in her career at the Pac-10 Championships, placing fifth at 41-2 ½, the fourth-best jump in school history ... went past 40-feet on two more occasions, winning the Ken Shannon Invite at 40-6, and placing 10th at the Mt. SAC Relays with a mark of 40-7 ... fourth at the Pepsi Team Invite with a 39-11 ¼ jump ... second in the UW-WSU dual, landing at 39-9 ¼ ... upped her indoor personal-best as well in a runner-up finish at the MPSF Championships, jumping 40-7 ½ which ranks third in school history ... took third at the Husky Classic with a mark of 40-5 ½ ... tied for the win at the UW Final Qualifier at 39-10 ½ ... season's-best long jump of 18-5 ¾ came indoors at the Husky Classic, placing sixth.

2010: Showed marked progress in the triple jump, scoring for the Huskies at the Pac-10 Championships with a top-10 mark ... in Berkeley for Pac-10s, stepped up with a personal-best triple jump of 40-feet, 1.75-inches, her first time over 40-feet, that was good for eighth-place and also placed her eighth in the UW Top-10 ... took second in the triple jump in the dual against the Cougars, going 39-4 ½ ... had a breakout effort at the Mondo Invitational, surpassing 39-feet for the first time at 39-7 ¾ to take second, while also long jumping a season-best 18-1 ½ ... only competed once in the indoor season, taking second in the triple jump at the season-opening UW Indoor Preview with a hop, skip, and jump of 38-5 while also long jumping 17-2.

2009: Posted the team's top marks in the long jump and triple jump outdoors ... competed in both jump events at the Pac-10 Championships for the first time, taking 13th in the long jump with a season-best of 18-8 ½ but fouled in the triple jump ... won the triple jump at the UW-WSU dual meet with a mark of 38-8 ¼ and was third in the long jump at 18-6 ... won the Ken Shannon Invite triple jump with a season-high 39-8 triple jump ... also cleared 39-feet at the Stanford Invite, going 39-1 to place seventh ... indoors, was 12th at the MPSF Championships in the long jump with a mark of 18-3 ¾ ... best indoor long jump of 18-6 came at the Husky Classic.

2008: Competed just once on the year, taking part in the triple jump and long jump at the UW Winter Preview ... lone triple jump was an impressive 38-feet, 3 ¼-inches, the second-best mark indoors or out by a Husky.

High School and Personal: Born in Rochester, Michigan ... parents are Terris and Mark Nichols ... father Mark played in the NFL from 1981-1989 as a wide receiver with the Detroit Lions ... one older brother, Matthew, and one younger brother, Wesley ... a prep All-American from 2004-07 outdoors and in 2006 indoors ... competed at U.S. Junior Nationals in 2005 and 2007, placing second in the triple jump in 2005, and third in 2007 ... finished second in the triple jump at the 2007 Simplot Games in Pocatello, Idaho.
