2011 (Track): Concluded his career with his first full track season in several years, competing nine times total indoors and out, and was UW's top shot putter ... came on strong at the end of the outdoor season, competing despite a torn hip flexor ... barely missed scoring at his final Pac-10 Championships, as he finished ninth with a best shot put of 54-3 ¾ ... helped clinch the team victory for UW over Washington State with a second-place finish in the shot put, as he posted a season-best 54-5 ¼ ... also took fifth at the Pepsi Team Invitational, throwing 50-1 ¼ ... indoors, had a best mark of 52-3 ¼ in a seventh-place finish at the Husky Classic ... also tossed 52-feet even at the UW Final Qualifier.

2010 (Track): Competed three times indoors in the shot put ... threw the shot at the MPSF Championships, placing 11th with a season-best mark of 51-feet, 8.25-inches.

2009 (Football): Played in, and started in, eight of the UW's 12 games ... missed the Oregon, UCLA, Oregon State and Washington State games due to injury ... started the other eight at one defensive tackle spot ... season-high five tackles, including a sack, in the win over Idaho ... two tackles, one for a loss, at Stanford ... three tackles and a forced fumble in the Huskies' 16-13 win over No. 3 USC.

2009 (Track): Did not compete during the season.

2008 (Football): Played in all 12 games during his sophomore season ... started a total of seven games at one of the defensive tackle spots ... started the first four games and then vs. Oregon State, Notre Dame and USC ... had four tackles in three games: vs. Oklahoma (all solo), Stanford and California ... three stops (all solo) against Arizona ... two tackles each vs. Notre Dame and Oregon State.

2008 (Track): Competed at his second-straight Pac-10 Championships, moving up to a 12th-place finish with a throw of 52-3 1/4 ... was second in the shot put at the Ken Shannon Invite with a season-best mark of 52-10 3/4 that was the best mark on the team in 2008 ... won the UW Outdoor Preview shot put with a mark of 49-0 1/4 ... competed three times indoors, with a top throw of 53-5 at the UW Invitational where he was sixth.

2007 (Football): Named to the Pac-10 All-Academic second team ... a regular in the rotation among the defensive tackles ... played in 12 of 13 (all but the UCLA game) ... had a tackle vs. Boise State and vs. USC.

2007 (Track): Competed exclusively in the shot put both indoors and out ... qualified for West Regional and placed 18th with a throw of 54-3 ¾ ... placed 17th at Pac-10 Championships, throwing 51-9 ... season-best 55-2 came in third-place finish at Auburn Springtime Invite ... new indoor best of 55-9 ¼ achieved at UW Last Chance Meet ... turned in a 15th-place finish at the MPSF Championships via a 52-3 ¼ throw.

2006 (Football): Earned the Mark Drennan Defensive Scout of the Year award at the team's postseason banquet ... won the UW's Pepsi Player of the Week Award for his work on the service team after the Oregon State game ... spent the year on the UW service team, but didn't see any action as a true freshman in 2006.

High School and Personal: America's 10th-ranked prep shot putter during the 2006 outdoor season ... topped 63 feet in the shot twice in 2006, the last a 63-4 1/2 toss to win his second-straight state shot put crown ... season-best throw of 63-8 was the 10th-best by a U.S. prep shot putter in 2006 ... won 2005 state title with a throw of 59-5 1/2, and was 14th at state in 2004, his first year in the sport ... swept district and regional shot put titles in both 2005 and 2006 ... was second at regionals as a sophomore ... also threw the discus at the district and regional level, earning third at districts in 2006, and seventh in 2005 ... signed a football scholarship to attend UW midway through his senior year ... was a first-team AP and Seattle Times all-state pick on the gridiron ... as a junior, recorded 10 sacks in five games before suffering an ankle injury ... was ranked as high as 10th in the nation among defensive tackles by various football recruiting services.
