GETTING TO KNOW ANDREW ELY

First memory of baseball:
Playing with my Grandpa in his front yard and hitting the ball over the trees in his yard.

Greatest baseball memories:
Winning state in High School and sliding head first safely to home as a go-ahead run late in the game against #5 Oregon State at home in 2013.

Favorite baseball player:
Derek Jeter, he is one of the best winners in the game and is a very respectable person.

Interesting fact:
I’m from Boise, Idaho. There’s not much recruiting in Idaho so I had to leave for the summers to play ball in Spokane to get recruited by Washington schools.
