In his seventh year at Washington and his fifth on the Women’s team as the first assistant and recruiting coordinator, Conor Bullis has been bringing in the top talent from the Northwest, the United States and from around the world and coaching his crews to three straight Pac-12 Championships.

In the most recent 2015 spring season Bullis lead the third varsity eight to a ten-second victory in the new Pac-12 Championship event.  The event was renamed from the novice eight to the third varsity eight to allow rowers from all ages into the event.  In the two previous years, 2013 and 2014, Bullis lead his novice crews to two undefeated seasons and two Pac-12 Championships. 

During the summers of 2014 and 2015, Bullis coached the USRowing Women’s Pair Camp and in 2012 and 2013, Bullis coached the USRowing National Team Women’s "Freshmen" Camp.

Coach Bullis is a native of Seattle, attending Garfield High School with many other superstar Huskies. A four-year letter winner from Oregon State University and Captain in his Senior year, Bullis returned to Seattle and started coaching on the UW Men's Rowing team under Michael Callahan and former freshman coach Luke McGee. Bullis coached with the Men's side for two years before taking a job as the Head Boys Coach for the Lakeside School.

At Lakeside, Bullis grew the program from eight boys to 42, worked to rebuild the entire boathouse and coached an open four and lightweight four to a fourth and second place respectively at the Youth National Championships. In the summers of 2010-11, Bullis coached the Seattle Area Rowing Association Boys Racing Camp taking his top eight to the USRowing Club National Championships and winning the Junior eight two summers in a row.

Coach Bullis enjoys woodworking, running, cycling, hiking in the summer, flying small planes and was the star of a BECU Bank Commercial in 2008, see if you can find it on YouTube!
