Seattle, WA -- A total of 20 high school student-athletes signed national letters of intent today to enroll at the University of Washington and play football for the Huskies. One junior college transfer also signed a financial aid agreement and will play for Washington. That group joins two junior college players who signed national letters of intent with Washington in December to bring the Huskies' 2004 recruiting class to a total of 23 players.

The Husky recruiting class includes five offensive linemen, five defensive linemen, four safeties, two cornerbacks, two linebackers, two tight ends who are also listed as defensive players, one quarterback, one tailback and one fullback.

Of the players in this year's recruiting class, 12 hail from Washington and 10 are from California and one attended high school in North Carolina.
