SEATTLE (AP)-- Matthew Bryan-Amaning came off the bench to score a career-high 18 points as Washington coasted to an 88-52 victory over winless Texas Southern on Saturday night.
Matthew Miller led the Tigers (0-8) with 12 points.
Five minutes into the second half, it turned into the Bryan-Amaning show. The 6-foot-9 freshman forward scored every point -- 14 straight -- for the Huskies over a six-minute span, building Washington's lead to 68-40 with 8:10 left.
Washington had a season-high nine steals and forced 24 turnovers that yielded 46 points.
The Tigers also hurt themselves at the foul line, making just four of 16 attempts.
The Huskies finished with 59.3 percent shooting from the floor (35 of 59) and held a 36-27 edge on the boards.
