    SEATTLE - The University of Washington's home football contest on September 27 against Stanford University will kick-off at 7 p.m. and will be televised live from Husky Stadium by the school's local broadcast partner FSN Northwest. The game will also be shown on Fox College Sports as well as other, to be announced, FSN regional networks across the country.

    Washington plays a total of 12 games this season and seven thus far have been pre-selected to be televised as part of either the Pacific-10 Conference or local broadcast packages. Each of the remaining games that have not been selected for television could be chosen either six or 12 days prior to kickoff. Washington was featured on live television in each of its 13 games last season, the highest number of appearances in school history.

    The Huskies open the 2008 season on Saturday, August 30 in a 7 p.m. contest at the University of Oregon. UW plays its first home game at noon on Sept. 6 against BYU, which owns the nation's longest active win streak. Both games will be televised by FSN and will be available in high definition on FSN HD.

    Washington also hosts Oklahoma, Stanford, Oregon State, Notre Dame, Arizona State and UCLA as part of its seven-game home schedule this season.
