WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- The Pac-12 Conference released the TV selections and game times for the 2012-13 men's basketball season on Wednesday and the Huskies are appearing on television at least 30 times during the regular season.
The Huskies will appear on the family of ESPN stations at least 12 times, the newly formed Pac-12 Network 13 times, FSN/ROOT Sports four times and CBS once.
Washington will make its long anticipated debut on the Pac-12 network Sunday, Nov. 11 when they open its regular season with a 5:00 p.m. home contest against Loyola-Maryland, the first of two campus site games for the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic. The second game of the tournament will also be carried by the Pac-12 Network when UW hosts Albany on Nov. 13 at 8:30 p.m.
The Huskies first road contest of the year on Nov. 17 vs. Seton Hall will be carried by ESPN3, followed by a Nov. 18 game vs. Ohio State or Rhode Island on ESPN2 or ESPN3.
The final seven non-conference home games will all be carried on the Pac-12 Network, while the Huskies final non-conference away foray against Connecticut will be televised by ESPN2.
As promised, every Washington Pac-12 Conference game will be broadcast. The Huskies open on the road Saturday, Jan. 5 at 6:30 p.m. against Washington State on ESPNU, followed the next week by a pair of 8:00 p.m. games at California on Jan. 9 (ESPNU) and Jan. 12 vs. Stanford (FSN/ROOT Sports).
The Huskies will open the home portion of their conference slate on Jan. 16 at 8:30 p.m. vs. Colorado on the Pac-12 Network. Their Jan. 19 game vs. Utah will be played at either 6:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. and carried by ESPNU.
The Pac-12 Network will carry both Husky games when they visit Oregon State and Oregon in late January, before the Huskies return home to host Arizona and Arizona State on the network family of ESPN.
UW then heads to Los Angeles where they play UCLA on ESPN or ESPN2 and USC on FSN/ROOT Sports, and return the next week to host Oregon (ESPN2) and Oregon State (FSN/ROOT Sports).
The Huskies last road trip leads them to the desert where they play Arizona on Wednesday, Feb. 20 on ESPN2 and Arizona State on Feb. 23 on ESPNU.
Washington closes the regular season at home with three games, including Washington State on FSN/Root Sports (March 3), USC on the Pac-12 Network (March 6) and UCLA on CBS (March 9).
