SEATTLE - After each game, Coach Tyrone Willingham and the Husky football coaching staff will name the Huskies' Pepsi Players of the Game for that week's performance. The winners following the UW's loss UCLA are wide receiver/returner Anthony Russo, linebacker Dan Howell, linebacker Cort Dennison, wide receiver Charles Hawkins and defensive tackle Jovon O'Connor.
Russo, a senior from Lakewood, Wash., was honored as the team's offensive and special teams player of the game. He set new career highs with 106 yards receiving and two touchdowns while also returning two punts for a total of 40 yards.
Howell, a senior from Newhall, Calif., had four tackles in the game and also notched one tackle for loss, one pass breakup and an interception, which he returned for 15 yards.
Dennison, a freshman from Salt Lake City, O'Connor, a senior from Los Angeles, and Hawkins, a senior from Chicago, were all honored for their work on the Huskies' service teams.
