UW Signee Williams-Goss Named McDonald's All American

Nigel Williams-Goss, a senior at Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nev.) and Husky men's basketball recruit, was named a McDonald's All American on Thursday. Williams-Goss is among 24 players selected for the 36th annual McDonald's boys' game that will be played April 3 in Chicago and televised live at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Williams-Goss plays for the No. 1 ranked high school team in the nation. Through Feb. 3 he was averaging 18 points, 7.5 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game.

Williams-Goss was also named to the Jordan Brand Classic recently. This year's 12th edition of the game will be played April 13 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and televised live on ESPN2.

Other recent Husky signees to play in the McDonald's All American game are Abdul Gaddy, Spencer Hawes, Martell Webster and Jon Brockman.
