  • Oregon's punt return for a TD was the first against Washington since USC's Reggie Bush returned a punt 84 yards for a score on Oct. 22, 2005, at Husky Stadium.

  • Junior receiver Alex Mercier saw his first action of the season as a member of the Husky punt return team. Mercier was a walk-on at Oregon in the 2003 season and played two games before transferring to Pasadena (Calif.) CC then to Washington.

  • Washington senior C.J. Wallace's interception in the first quarter today was his first of the season and second of his career. The senior safety had one interception as a sophomore against USC with a seven yard return.

  • Washington junior defensive end Greyson Gunheim forced his third fumble of the season, tying the team-high in that category. All three of his career forced fumbles have come this season.

  • Washington junior Chris Hemphill's interception in the 3rd quarter was the first of his career at UW. The interception was Washington's second in the game, marking the third multiple interception of the year (2 vs. UCLA and Oregon State, both at Husky Stadium).

  • Washington senior receiver Quintin Daniels caught his second TD reception of the season and the third of his career in the third quarter of today's game.

  • Washington junior receiver Anthony Russo has caught at least one pass in 22 straight games.

  • Washington sophomore offensive guard Casey Bulyca saw his first action of the season in the 3rd quarter following an injury to starter Clay Walker. Only Bulyca and Erik Berglund have played on the offensive line as reserves this season.
