SEATTLE - The University of Washington men's basketball team returns to action Saturday in a 6:30 p.m. tipoff against Texas Southern University at Bank of America Arena.
The Huskies are 4-3 on the season following their convincing 83-65 home victory over Oklahoma State in the Big 12 / Pac-10 Hardwood Series Thursday night. Four UW players scored in double-figures against the Cowboys, led by freshman guard Isaiah Thomas' 18 points. Senior forward Jon Brockman registered his 47th career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Saturday's game will be televised live by FSN Northwest with Kevin Calabro and Francis Williams calling the action. Texas Southern is 0-7 on the season following its 80-61 loss at the University of Arkansas on Wednesday night. The Tigers have played all seven of the games thus far in the season away from home. TSU has played at Texas-El Paso, Cincinnati, Northen Iowa, Marquette and Arkansas. It also played neutral site games against Mercer and Bethune-Cookman in Chicago.
Brockman, the Huskies' All-America candidate forward, leads the team in scoring with an average of 17.0 points per game. The Snohomish, Wash. native is also among the nation's rebounding leaders with an average of 11.4 per game. Behind the strength of Brockman, Quincy Pondexter and Darnell Gant, Washington is the nation's leader in rebound margin at plus-15.3 per game.
Following Saturday's contest, Washington will take a week off for final exams before returning to action on Sunday, Dec. 14 against Portland State.
