SEATTLE - Saturday marks the return of the Husky football program's annual Picture Day. This year's edition gets underway at Husky Stadium at 1:30 p.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m.
Picture Day is a chance for fans to meet all the Husky players as well as Coach Tyrone Willingham. They'll all be on hand to sign autographs and/or take pictures.
Fans can also treat themselves to free hot dogs, chips, sodas and bottled water, available in the east end of the stadium. Schedule posters and schedule cards will also be available at no cost.
Along with the football team, members of the UW men's and women's soccer teams and women's volleyball team will be available for autographs and photos.
As part of Picture Day, the Husky Ticket Office will be holding a "select-a-seat" event. All available season ticket seating locations will be tagged. Fans are invited to check out the seats themselves, and if they'd like to purchase a particular seat or group of seats, bring the tags down to the ticket office table in the east end zone to make payment.
Fans wishing to "select a seat" should come by the table beforehand and can either look around the stadium on their own or be shown the various locations by a guide. Any available Tyee seats will also be tagged and available. Fans can also purchase four-game plans at the ticket office table in the east end.
Finally, the Husky Team Shop will have a kiosk on the field level where fans can check out a wide array of UW gear, available for purchase.
The Huskies open the 2007 season Aug. 31 at Syracuse before taking on Boise State in the home opener Sept. 8 at Husky Stadium.
