Women's Crew Headed to NCAA Championships

SEATTLE - Fans who plan to attend the 2010 NCAA Women's Rowing Championships in Rancho Cordova, Calif., currently have a limited opportunity to pre-purchase tickets to the event. From now until Thursday, May 20th, Husky fans can purchase an all-session pass, or individual day passes for each of the three days, and can do so at this website.

After finishing third in the Pac-10 Championships, the No. 7 Dawgs earned a trip to the NCAA Women's Rowing Championships and their shot at the University of Washington's fourth national title. The Dawgs are just one of sixteen elite crews to be featured at the tournament. They're joined by six other teams out of a strong Pac-10, including No. 1 Cal and the defending national champions in Stanford. The Huskies boast an impressive resume this season with a sweep at the 2010 Windermere Cup as well as solid performances throughout in-conference competition.
