Washington is now 17-15 its 14 NCAA Tournament appearances all-time. The Huskies are 7-4 in NCAA Tournament games under Lorenzo Romar. Washington has advanced to its fourth Sweet 16 since 1998 and third under Romar (2005, 2006)

The only other time Washington was a #11 seed in the NCAA Tournament , the Huskies defeated Xavier and Richmond to advance to the Sweet 16 before losing to sixth-ranked Connecticut (75-74 loss in Greensboro, N.C.).

With his 15 points against New Mexico, Isaiah Thomas now has 1,121 career points, all in just two seasons - the most ever for a Washington player in their first two seasons.

Quincy Pondexter played in his 135th career game at Washington, extending his school record for most appearances as a Husky.

Quincy Pondexter moved into sole possession of third place on the UW career scoring chart with 1,779 points in his four seasons as a Husky. Today, he passed Bob Houbregs, who had 1,774 from 1951-53.

Matthew Bryan-Amaning had 2 blocks today. He has 99 in his career and moved into third on the UW career charts (David Dixon had 98 from 2000-02).
