After a game in which he set new career highs for receptions, yards and touchdowns, UW wide receiver Jermaine Kearse has been named the Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced today.

Kearse, a junior from Lakewood, Wash., led the Huskies to a 41-20 win over Syracuse on Saturday, catching nine balls for 179 yards and three scores. With the Huskies trailing 10-6 in the second quarter, he scored on a five-yard pass from Jake Locker to give the UW a halftime lead.

On the first play of the second half, Kearse scored on a 57-yard pass and then scored the UW's third straight TD on a 28-yard connection with Locker later in the third.
