Seattle - Former Husky and current Seattle Seahawk tight end Jerramy Stevens will host the inaugural Curtis Williams Memorial Bowling Tournament Sunday, April 27 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event will take place at Sun Villa Lanes Bowling Alley in Bellevue.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Curtis Williams Scholarship Fund, the Mike Utley Foundation (dedicated to helping all people with spinal cord injuries), charities of the Williams family's choice, and the Real Deal Foundation (focused on giving high school students opportunities to learn leadership and service in their communities).
In addition to Stevens, former Husky greats like Steve Emtman, Greg Lewis, Nesby Glasgow as well as some Seahawk players and local celebrities will join bowlers in this charity event.
Spectators will be asked for a donation of $10. In addition to the bowling tournament, a silent auction will be held for the benefit of the charities. There will be a $25 fee to participate in the auction. Auction items include a Husky tailgate party with football tickets, Seahawk tickets and dinner, as well as items procured from local businesses and autographed jerseys and other items from celebrities like Ray Allen, Lawyer Milloy, Jerramy Stevens, Rashard Lewis and new Seahawks kicker Rodney Williams.
