In 1997, the Huskies stopped in Hilo for a pair of games before taking part in a week-long tournament at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. Washington won those two games, 17-8 and 4-2, belting six home runs in the first game. Washington is only 15-23 all-time vs. California, but won all three games in Berkeley last season (4-3, 2-0, 5-4).
