LOS ANGELES (AP) - Brandon Roy scored 17 points to lead Washington to a 93-82 victory over USC on Thursday night.
Will Conroy and Mike Jensen added 16 points apiece for the Huskies (10-8, 5-5 Pacific-10 Conference), who earned their fifth consecutive victory, extending their longest winning streak in five years. Washington had not won five games in succession since 1999.
Desmon Farmer scored a game-high 31 points for the Trojans (9-10, 4-6) who have lost five of seven. Rory O'Neil came off the bench to score 12 points.
USC held a 33-22 lead with 5:06 left in the first half when Washington used a 21-4 surge to take a 43-37 halftime lead. The Trojans scored only one point in the final 2:40 of the half. Roy, Jensen and Tre Simmons each scored five points during the run, as the Huskies scored all but six of their points off turnovers.
USC narrowed the deficit to 70-66 on 3-pointer from O'Neil with 8:02 to play. But Washington's Curtis Allen responded with his own 3-pointer to extend the Huskies' lead to 73-66 with 7:30 remaining.
