SEATTLE - The Washington football team held a half-pads practice Saturday morning at Husky Stadium.
As the team moves into game week mode, the players will get the rest of the day off on Saturday, as the upperclassmen move back into their regular housing from the dorms. Sunday is an off day as well before things begin to crank up on Monday.
The Huskies will practice Monday, Tuesday at Wednesday under the lights at 7:00 p.m., as they attempt to replicate the game time conditions for the 7:30 p.m. opener Saturday vs. LSU.
Like the last few practices, Saturday's workout was more game-week mode than fall-camp style with the offense and defense working against the scout teams much of the morning.
Husky fans can follow along much of the coming week right here at gohuskies.com. You can view Monday's noon press conference here and can listen to the first Coach Sarkisian Show Monday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. on KJR Radio (please note that, after this first week, the coach's show will air Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m., live from Anthony's restautrant in Shilshole).
