SEATTLE -- Through a special cooperative arrangement among its multimedia rights-holders, fans of University of Washington football will be able to relive every Husky game during the 2006 season through a special Internet replay via the Dawg Channel on GoHuskies.com.
Every game will be available to watch online in its entirety each Tuesday from 5 p.m. to midnight (PDT). Computer users with broadband access can simply click on the Dawg Channel graphic on the front page of GoHuskies.com and complete the free registration required to enter site. There will be no subscription fee for any live or archived content on the Dawg Channel this season.
"We recognize the importance of providing our fans with extensive coverage of our athletics program and this weekly Dawg Channel replay will allow us to take advantage of a new opportunity to do so," said Todd Turner, UW's director of athletics. "We have some great multimedia partnerships with people who have genuine interest in helping us continue to build our program. There is a unique cooperative environment among our rights-holders and this is a great example of everyone working together to help extend our coverage and serve our fans."
For those games not able to be televised by FSN Northwest, the Dawg Channel will feature a feed provided by the in-house HuskyTron production with play-by-play audio provided by the Washington ISP Sports Network. Games produced by FSN Northwest will be shown as originally produced.
