SEATTLE - The Mountain West Conference announced its football television schedule today and it was revealed that Washington's season opener at Brigham Young University will begin at 4 p.m. (PT) and will be televised nationally in high definition by CBS College Sports.
The Pac-10 Conference is scheduled to release its initial ABC/ESPN television schedule around May 1, while the league's FSN/Versus schedule will be released around June 1. Television appearances not announced at that time will be determined either a six or 12-days prior to each weekend during the regular season.
Washington is currently in the midst of a streak of 38 straight games on television. Every game the last three seasons has been televised. The BYU game will be the 39th.
After the Huskies' opener in Provo, Utah, the team returns home to face its final two non-league opponents of the season - Sept. 11 against Syracuse and Sept. 18 versus Nebraska. Other home opponents for Washington include Arizona, Oregon State, Stanford and UCLA.
