Racing Delayed at IRA Regatta

Camden, NJ - The first day of racing at the 100th Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championship Regatta has been delayed 90 minutes due to heavy fog surrounding the Cooper River.

The varsity eight heats will now start at 9:06 a.m. EST, with Washington, in heat four, racing at 9:42 a.m. Washington's freshman eight follows in the next race at 9:54 a.m. and the open four races at 11:42 a.m. UW's junior varsity heat will run at 12:30 p.m.

Aside from heavy fog, the weather is warm and humid at the race course.
