SEATTLE - Even though spring football practice starts in just more than a month, it is a busy time for football in the Washington Husky Ticket Office.
Monday marks the deadline for season ticket and Tyee renewals, as well as parking requests, for the upcoming 2010 Husky football season. Tyee renewal forms were mailed in December, while football ticket renewal information was sent last month.
The Husky Ticket Office is reporting that roughly 1,500 new season ticket deposits have been accepted and renewals are moving along at a strong pace.
Once the renewal process is completed and seats have been assigned, the ticket staff will assign seat location for those who placed new ticket deposits. Late season ticket renewals could jeopardize seating location and the potential loss of season ticket account priority.
New season tickets will continue to be on sale through the beginning of the season. However, the earlier a new customer places a deposit the better seat location they will receive.
Renewals are being accepted online at GoHuskies.com, by telephone at (206) 543-2200 (M-F, 8:30 - 4:30) or in-person during weekday office hours at the Husky Ticket Office, located inside Graves Hall at 3910 Montlake Blvd. NE.
The Huskies play six home games in 2010, beginning with the Sept. 11 contest against Big East Conference foe Syracuse. Big 12 Conference North Division champion Nebraska visits Husky Stadium on Sept. 18.
The Pac-10 schedule begins on October 9 with Arizona State visiting Seattle, followed by the Dawgs' only home game against any of its Northwest rivals when Oregon State (homecoming) comes to town on Oct. 16. Stanford will visit on Oct. 30 and UCLA will serve as the UW's senior day opponent in the home finale on Nov. 13.
Spring practice begins March 30 and will conclude with the annual Spring Game on Friday night, April 30 in Husky Stadium. All practices will be open to the public and a schedule will be published on GoHuskies.com as soon as it is available.
