Washington quarterback Jake Locker has already been named to the watch lists for a trio of quarterback awards, but today, he was named to the list for the Walter Camp Award, which goes to the national player of the year.

Locker, a senior from Ferndale, Wash., was one of 30 players named to the list. He was one of six Pac-10 players and 10 quarterbacks chosen.

The Walter Camp Award is presented by the Walter Camp Football Foundation of New Haven, Conn. The award is the fourth-oldest national college football award in the nation and is named in honor of Walter Camp, "the Father of American football."
