• Redshirt freshman cornerback Adam Long earned his first career start.

• After scoring the first two TDs of his career last week, receiver Devin Aguilar had another tonight, scoring on a 49-yard reception from Jake Locker.

• Aguilar's touchdown came on the Huskies' first drive of the game and marked the fourth time this season that the UW has scored on its first offensive possession.

• Redshirt freshman receiver Anthony Boyles saw his first career action, appearing first on the punt team in the first quarter.

• Fullback Paul Homer had his first carry of the season was a fourth-down carry for a first down late in the second quarter.

Erik Folk had a streak of seven straight made field goals made with a missed 48-yarder at the end of the first half.

• ASU failed to turn their second-quarter interception into any points, as the Devils' ensuing drive resulted in a lost fumble. Through halftime, the Huskies had turned the ball over 10 times this season, but had allowed only two TDs as a result.

• ASU missed a field goal in the third quarter, marking the first time all season that a Husky opponent has missed a field goal. Prior to the miss, UW opponents were 17-for-17 on the season.

• Before the midway point of the third quarter, Aguilar had already set a new career high for receiving yards, with 94 through his first four receptions. By the end of the third quarter, he had also surpassed his career high for receptions with six (for 133 yards at that point). His old highs were five receptions and 73 yards.
