SEATTLE - After each game, Coach Tyrone Willingham and the Husky football coaching staff will name the Huskies' KJR Radio Players of the Game for that week's performance. The winners following the UW's loss at Oregon are quarterback Jake Locker, cornerback Quinton Richardson, linebacker Chris Stevens, linebacker Kurt Mangum, tailback Terrance Dailey and receiver Vince Taylor.
Locker, the Huskies' sophomore quarterback from Ferndale, Wash., completed 12-of-28 passes for 103 yards and led the UW in rushing, gaining 57 on 16 carries.
Richardson, a redshirt freshman from Renton, Wash., notched an interception in his first game as a Husky. He was also credited with three tackles and a pass breakup.
Stevens, a senior from Mojave, Calif., was honored for his work on the Husky special teams. The veteran linebacker posted two solo tackles.
Mangum, a freshman from Chandler, Ariz., Dailey, a freshman from Vacaville, Calif., and Taylor, a freshman from Issaquah, Wash., were honored for their work on the Huskies' service teams
