Four Husky Football Games Selected for Television

Seattle - Network television broadcasters have selected four Washington football games for telecast next year. Today the Pac-10 Conference announced its early broadcast selections by ABC Sports, including a pair of Husky games.

Washington's season opener against Fresno State on Sunday, Sept. 5 will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. at Husky Stadium. The game will be televised nationally on Fox Sports Net. The Huskies Sept. 18 home date against UCLA has been moved to 4 p.m. to accommodate a west coast broadcast on ABC Sports. Washington's first road game of the season, on Sept. 25 at Notre Dame, will be aired by NBC Sports. Kickoff is set for 12:30 p.m. PT.

Washington's Apple Cup matchup at Washington State on Nov. 20 will be televised by ABC Sports. Kickoff for the game will take place at 5 p.m. PT.

Fox Sports Net and Turner Sports will announce their early broadcast selections on June 1.
