SEATTLE - Single-game tickets for the Washington baseball and softball teams go on sale tomorrow, Tue., Feb. 13, at the Husky Ticket Office. Fans can visit the ticket office in person each weekday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., call (206) 543-2200 during those same hours, or purchase tickets online at gohuskies.com at any time of day.
Single-game tickets are priced at $5 for adults and $3 for children and seniors. Additionally, group tickets (for groups of 15 or more people) may be purchased in advance for $2 per person and a $15 family plan admits four to any game.
Also, new this season is a "Flex Ticket" plan whereby fans can purchase 30 tickets for $90. Those tickets can be used for any game in any amount. In other words, a fan can attend 30 games or 30 fans can attend one game, any anything in between. Those seats are general admission only and first come, first served, and admittance is subject to capacity.
The Husky softball team opens the home season with the Husky Classic March 2-4, when Louisiana State, Portland State and North Dakota State all visit Husky Softball Stadium. Later in the season, the UW takes on all the Pac-10 opponents, starting with Arizona on March 30 and Arizona State March 31 and April 1.
The UW baseball team, which begins play this weekend on the road, opens a 12-game homestand on Tue., Feb. 27, at 3:00 p.m. vs. Portland. After that game, the Huskies play host to UC Irvine for a three-game series, Southern Utah for a two-game set and then takes on Pacific and Cal State Northridge in three-game series. Additionally, later in the season, Pac-10 opponents Arizona State, USC, Oregon State and California all visit Husky Ballpark.
