ANAHEIM, Calif. - Tickets for the 16th annual John R. Wooden Classic, which will feature Washington versus Georgetown on Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Honda Center, go on sale Friday, Sept. 18 at 10:00 a.m.
Tip off for Georgetown vs. Washington is scheduled for 11 a.m. (PST), with UCLA vs. Mississippi beginning at approximately 1:30 p.m. (PST). Both game start times are subject to change.
Tickets range in price from $10-300 and allows admission to both games. Tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster locations, online at ticketmaster.com, charge-by-phone at 800-745-3000 and at the Honda Center Box Office.
Game one of the event marks the first-ever meeting between the men's basketball programs of Georgetown and Washington. The Huskies finished last season with a 26-9 overall record and a 14-4 mark in taking the Pac-10 title and returns three starters this season, including senior forward Quincy Pondexter - who last summer was a member of the USA squad at the World University games, and sophomore Isaiah Thomas - the 2009 Pac-10 Freshman of the Year.
Georgetown returns three starters from last year's team, led by junior guards Austin Freeman and Chris Wright, as well as 2008-09 BIG EAST Rookie of the Year, center Greg Monroe.
