Husky Golfers Earn Pac-10 Academic Honors

Seattle - Three members of the Washington men's and women's golf teams have been honored by the Pac-10 Conference as selections to its 2006 All-Academic Team.

Senior men's golfer James Lepp was named a first-team selection for the second straight year. He carries a 3.36 GPA as a business administration major. Junior Alex Prugh and sophomore Sterling Clark were named honorable mention selections.

Also repeating as a first team selection is women's golfer Paige Mackenzie. She has a 3.59 GPA in business administration. It marks the fourth straight year Mackenzie has been named to the All-Academic squad. She was a second-team member as a freshman and sophomore. Junior Amber Prange and sophomore Kim Shin were named honorable mention picks.
