WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- Washington senior Kristi Kingma was named Pac-12 Player of the week on Monday as announced by the conference office. Kingma set a Pac-12 record with 11 3-pointers in the Dawgs 97-71 win over Oregon.
In Washington's only game of the weekend, Kingma shot 11-17 from beyond the arc to break the conference record. She finished the game just one trey shy of the NCAA record for threes in a game (12) and paced a UW squad that set the Conference team single-game record for three-pointers (18).
Kingma shot 12-19 overall, while scoring a career-high 35 points and grabbing six rebounds. She added two steals and two assists and committed no turnovers on the evening.
Kingma earned the Pac-12 Weekly honor for the first time this season and the second time in her career. She has now made 76 3-pointers on the season, which leads the conference. Kingma needs just three more from downtown to tie her own school record for 3-pointers in a season.
The Dawgs continue their Oregon roadtrip tonight against Oregon State. The game is set for a 6 p.m. tip and will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Networks.
