o Please note that the Huskies next game, Friday, Dec. 23 vs. Lehigh, tips off at 5 p.m. Earlier schedules showed a different time, but it was changed to accommodate a FSN TV live broadcast.
o Washington's win extended its nation-leading home winning streak to 30 games. It was also the Huskies 799th win at Bank of America Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion. That is the highest total of any team in the nation in its current arena.
o The last time the Huskies won their first nine games was in the 1975-76 season. That team went on to win its first 14 consecutive contests.
o Jamaal Williams scored a career-high 26 points Friday. He was 12-for-18 from the field. It marked the third consecutive game that Williams has led the Huskies in scoring. Brandon Roy also contributed 25 points to mark the second time that two Huskies have scored 20 or more points. The first was against Air Force when Roy scored 27 and Jon Brockman tallied 21.
o Brockman finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, marking his third double-double of the season. The Huskies had eight double-doubles as a team last year with no individual totaling more than two.
