Washington linebacker Mason Foster has been named a first-team All-American by scout.com, the website announced today.

Foster, a senior from Seaside, Calif., is the Pac-10's leading tackler. With 137 total tackles, he's also second in the nation and has more tackles than any Husky since 1989.

Foster also has nine and a half tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

He has at least one more game to add to his totals as the Huskies (5-6 overall, 4-4 Pac-10) travel to face Washington State this Saturday in the 103rd Apple Cup.
