SEATTLE - In an effort to help fans enjoy a new era of Washington football, the Husky Ticket Office is offering new discount season ticket prices on select upper deck seats.
The new level, value reserved, will guarantee season ticket holders the same seat to every Husky home game this year. At $245, the seats are priced significantly less than the next level of reserved season tickets, which start at $390.
These ticket holders will enjoy match-ups with LSU, USC and Washington State from predetermined sections and rows in the upper decks. About 1,500 value reserve seats have been identified, and offer savings of over $30 per game against the single game ticket price for seats in those sections.
The Tyee Club also offers quality season ticket options for the 2009 season. By making a seat related donation, Tyee members receive access to better available seat locations, according to Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Sales & Customer Service David Gravenkemper.
There are plenty of seats available for non-Tyee fans as well.
"It's a 72,000 seat stadium," said Gravenkemper. "We have about 52,000 seats accounted for when you factor in current season ticket holders, students, recruits, player guests and visiting team allocations. That's over 20,000 seats that are still for sale."
Quality seats still available include the reserved value seating areas, as well as seats priced at $390. Those seats still offer deep discounts over the cost of single-game tickets and are available in the lower level in the western end zone. Seats are still for sale across from the student section near the East end zone.
Four-game plans offer Husky fans a middle ground between the full season slate and buying single game tickets. Fans are able to pick which games they want to see, as well as their seating preference, if they choose the reserved seating option which is $212. Plans are available in the East End Bleachers at $112, but those seats are in limited supply. Both plans offer savings over buying single game tickets.
In the past, family packs that include tickets, a soda and an Ivar's chowder bowl for four people have been offered for select games.
"Family Packs are a really affordable package for four people to come out to a game," said Gravenkemper. "They are geared towards families that want to just come as a casual fan and enjoy the environment. "
Gravenkemper said that a similar plan will likely be offered again this year to a few games, but nothing has been officially decided.
Single game tickets will be available for purchase on sale July 27, starting at 8:30 AM. Any tickets that are not sold as season tickets will be eligible to be bought by the general public.
Season tickets and four-game plans can be purchased right now online at Gohuskies.com, visiting the Husky Ticket Office, or by calling (206) 543-2200 during regular business hours.
