SEATTLE - The Pacific-10 Conference and FSN announced Monday that the Oct. 21st University of Washington football game at California will be televised live on Fox Sports Net as part of the league's television package.
Kickoff is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. from Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, Calif. This weekend's Husky game against Oregon State will be televised live by FSN Northwest beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Four of Washington's six games thus far in the 2006 season have been televised live by either FSN, FSN Northwest, ABC or TBS. Each of the next two Husky games and the Apple Cup game against Washington State are guaranteed to be televised, increasing the total number of television appearances already accounted for to seven of a possible nine games thus far in the season.
Tickets to the final three Husky home games of the season are available by calling 206/543-2200 or by clicking here.
In late July, UW and FSN Northwest announced a new six-year partnership that would expand live game television opportunities for Husky football and men's basketball. This weekend's telecast against Oregon State and the Sept. 16 telecast against Fresno State were both made available solely as a result of the new agreement.
In addition, FSN Northwest was instrumental in helping provide a closed-circuit feed of the Huskies' game at Arizona that drew approximately 7,000 fans to Bank of America Area on the UW campus.
