SEATTLE - Since 1900 the University of Washington and Washington State have faced each other on the football field.
This fall, in a rare Thanksgiving weekend affair, the two schools will meet for the 100th time in history when the Cougars invade Husky Stadium on Saturday, November 24.
Washington owns a 64-29-6 record over its cross-state rivals since 1900.
In order to relive some of the great memories of this historic rivalry, Washington Husky fans will be able to view and select their favorite play in Apple Cup history.
Over a span covering the next 13 weeks, the Husky athletic staff will post one memorable video clip of a great play in UW vs. WSU series history. In mid-November, fans can begin voting on which play represents the great play in Apple Cup history.
The play that receives the most votes will be displayed on the HuskyTron videoboard during this year's Apple Cup game in Husky Stadium.
