SEATTLE - After each game, Coach Tyrone Willingham and the Husky football coaching staff will name the Huskies' Pepsi Players of the Game for that week's performance. The winners following the UW's 27-9 win at Stanford are tailback Louis Rankin, defensive end Greyson Gunheim, safety Jay Angotti, tight end Chris Izbicki, defensive tackle Nick Wood and linebacker Cort Dennison.

Rankin, a senior from Stockton, Calif., had a career day to say the least. He rushed for 255 yards and one touchdown on 36 carries. His 255 yards were the most this year by a Pac-10 player and the fourth-most in UW history. His 36 carries also ranked tied for fifth in Husky history. He also caught two passes for 11 yards.

Gunheim, a senior from Sebastopol, Calif., had three tackles, including one and a half sacks, and a pass break-up. The Huskies held the Cardinal to just nine points, fewest by a UW opponent in a Pac-10 game since the 2000 Apple Cup (a 51-3 Husky win).

Angotti, a sophomore from Honolulu, led the Husky special teams with three solo tackles.

Izbicki, a freshman from Kirkland, Wash., Wood, a freshman from Poway, Calif., and Dennison, a freshman from Salt Lake City, were honored for their work on the Huskies' special teams, defensive and offensive service teams, respectively.
