Mississippi State had a season-low five assists.
This was the third straight NCAA Tournament that Mississippi State has faced a team from the Pacific-10 Conference. In 2005, The Bulldogs defeated Stanford 93-70 in 2005 and Oregon 76-69 in 2008 prior to Thursday's game with Washington.
