SEATTLE - After each win, Coach Tyrone Willingham and the Husky football coaching staff will name the Huskies' Pepsi Players of the Game for that week's performance. The winners following the UW's 21-20 win over Fresno State are quarterback Isaiah Stanback, safety C.J. Wallace, defensive end Caesar Rayford, defensive back Durrell Moss quarterback Jake Locker.
Stanback, a senior from Seattle, accounted for 242 of the Huskies' 279 yards of total offense, completing 15-of-26 passes for 151 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. On the ground, he rushed for a team-high 91 yards and one TD on 12 carries.
Wallace, a senior from Sacramento, Calif., matched a career high with 17 total tackles in the game. He also had two tackles for loss and forced the game's only fumble. Wallace currently leads the Pac-10 in tackles.
Rayford, a junior from Spanaway, Wash., was recognized for his work on special teams. Rayford made perhaps the game's most crucial play, blocking a fourth-quarter extra-point attempt that would have tied the game at 21-21.
Moss, a junior from Orange, Calif., and Locker, a freshman from Ferndale, Wash., were honored for their work on the Huskies' service teams.
