Head coach Steve Sarkisian

On the game overall ...
"Well that was an ugly football game. There wasn't a phase where we performed to our capabilities, and that's what's disappointing from a coaching standpoint. You always go into a game and you want to achieve or play as close to your level of capability as possible. Today, for whatever reason, we didn't do that. We did not perform at a level that we are capable of, not even close. Tip your hat to Oregon State. They came out and played well, but I don't know if it had as much to do with them, or if it just had to do with us. We couldn't get out of our own way there for awhile."

On the OSU defensive front ...
"They're a nice defensive front, and we knew that coming into the game. The pressure can look overwhelming when you don't block guys, it can look even worse. I felt for Chris, I felt for Jake early on, and then I felt like we settled down and didn't execute on the perimeter. I'm not saying it was them. I don't think we were very good in any area. But that area was very evident, especially in the first two series. They were getting off, they were in our backfield and they were creating havoc for us. We just couldn't get right."

On game planning for both Rodgers' brothers ...
"We had a relatively good idea of what they're doing and where they were. Especially with Jacquizz, it seemed like we'd stop him, stop him, stop him and then bang, he'd snap off a big one. And they really didn't need to. They're both great players, it doesn't matter what their last names are. They are both great players and they have a nice coaching staff that gets them the ball.

On playing at Reser Stadium ...
"Yeah, I don't like this Reser Stadium a whole lot. It's three times in a row when I've been here now. What's funny about these games is that they've all gone the same way in the first half. It's almost just disastrous offensive football where you can't get out of your own way. I don't know maybe we'll just get dressed on the bus and take the field. We won't even go into the locker room."

Cornerback Desmond Trufant

On the Rodgers brothers...
"They are good players. They're fast, they're strong, they're small, they can move andthey're elusive. So, they're great players actually."

On James Rodgers' big run back...
"I thought he was going to give me a move, but he just kept going full speed. That's kind of what got me stuck. He's real fast."

Linebacker Cort Dennison

On Jacquizz Rodgers...
"He's a great running back. He's light on his feet and quick. He is definitely one of the best in the conference."

Quarterback Jake Locker

On the let down of the game considering all that was on the line...
"We prepared well. I thought we were ready to play. For some reason we just didn't execute. Some of the stuff is on me. I need to be able to recognize and get the ball out quicker."
