SEATTLE - The annual Husky Football Kickoff Luncheon is set for Monday, August 27, only four days before the Dawgs open the 2007 season August 31 at Syracuse.
All fans are invited to attend the luncheon, but time is running short as reservations are due by next Wednesday, August 22.
Doors of the Dempsey Indoor practice facility open at 11:00 a.m. and the luncheon and program get underway at 11:30 a.m. Parking is available in the E-1 (Montlake) lot.
Longtime radio voice of the Huskies Bob Rondeau will serve as master of ceremonies once again. Aside from hearing from head coach Tyrone Willingham and players, fans can also mingle with UW players and hear from the Husky Marching Band.

As for fall camp, the Huskies had only one practice scheduled for Thursday, a full-squad workout in the afternoon. Friday marks another two-practice day before the team holds an open practice Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out to Husky Stadium for Saturday's workout.
News From Syracuse:Syracuse officials are reporting that the Aug. 31 season opener against Washington is expected to be a sellout. The on-campus Carrier Dome has a listed capacity of 49,262 and the last football sellout, according to the SU media guide, was on Nov. 18, 2000 against the University of Miami.
"We fully expect that we're going to be real close to a sellout, if not a sellout, for the first game based on the demand and the interest that we're seeing," SU senior associate athletics director Pat Campbell told the Syracuse Post-Standard earlier this month. "Ticket sales have been brisk at the box office."
