Washington's 2010 football recruiting class is now in the books.

A day after the 30-man class was announced, calm has descended on the UW football coaches' offices, a big contrast to the months-long beehive of activity that hit its crescendo yesterday.

The Husky class was well received across the board. Scout.com rated the Husky haul as the No. 11 recruiting class in the nation while ESPN rated it 20th.

Most pundits pointed to the size and diversity of the class, and primarily to the attention paid to both offensive and defensive linemen. Washington signed seven top offensive linemen and, depending on where they end up playing, as many as six defensive linemen.

The class included five sets of high school classmates as the UW signed three players from Lakes High (Lakewood, Wash.) and two each from Seattle's O'Dea High, Long Beach (Calif.) Jordan High, Bothell High and southern California power Oaks Christian High.

As off-season workouts continue, the next big date on the Husky football calendar is the start of spring practice on March 30.
