SAN DIEGO - Bobby Jones scored 19 points to lead four Washington players in double figures in a 92-81 win over San Diego State on Saturday night, the Huskies' first win in nearly a month.

Nate Robinson scored 16 points, Tre Simmons added 13 and Will Conroy had 12 for Washington (4-3), whose last win had been on Nov. 29, 104-91 against Eastern Washington.

Washington then lost three straight, to Gonzaga and at Wyoming and Houston, all by double digits. This game finished a three-game road trip.

Freshman Brandon Heath scored a game-high 23 for the Aztecs (7-5), who were coming off an 83-71 loss at No. 5 Arizona on Dec. 22.

Washington, which was bigger and quicker than the Aztecs, took a 60-45 lead following a slam dunk by Mike Jensen less than five minutes into the second half. Jensen had six points in the first 4:45 of the second half, before the Aztecs even made a field goal, a 3-pointer by John Sharper that made it 60-48.

Freshman Brandon Heath then scored 10 straight points for the Aztecs to pull SDSU to 64-60 with 10:03 to play.

The Aztecs stayed close for the next few minutes, and still trailed by four with 8:11 left, 71-67. That was closest they'd get, though.

Conroy made consecutive 3-pointers and Robinson also made a 3 as the Huskies began pulling away. Their biggest lead was 88-72 with 2:39 left.

Washington led 50-43 at halftime after pulling away on a 12-5 run highlighted by 3-pointers by Conroy and Robinson.

Aerick Sanders scored 18 for SDSU, Wesley Stokes had 13 and Marcus Slaughter 10.
